Go to the local store that might carry wood chips. Usually Wal Mart or the farm feed supply stores carry it (Tractor Supply, Orschelin, etc.). Small bag can be purchased for grilling or the larger bags (50 pounds for about $20-25)for outside usage. Before spreading the cedar chips, rake the yard free of dog poop, old chewed up toys, dead branches, or anything else the lawn mower might destroy and spread even more! Thoroughly spread the wood chips around the years, especially focusing on areas where the dog lays, plays, outside the house entrance, or toilets. More is better!
