Making a jewelry box for someone is a wonderful idea for a birthday, anniversary or Christmas gift. Because it is handmade, the recipient will treasure this jewelry box for many years to come. Use the 2 pieces that are 6″ x 6″ and the two that are 6″ x 8″ and glue them together using a thin strip of wood glue along the sides. Use the drill to start small holes an inch apart along the edges where you glued the box together. Nail the brads in these holes, being careful not to crack the wood.
