How do you connect xbox controller to PC to play COD?
For an original Xbox controller, you will have to splice a new cable onto it. You can buy a cheap USB cable from many dollar stores. The controller is a USB controller but with a special end. Just cut the end off, connect the wires to a USB plug (you can ignore the yellow one), and tape it back up. Then install drivers from here and here. There are also some commercial adapters available that don’t require any modding, but the splicing option is cheapest. For an Xbox 360 wired controller, you can just plug it in. Microsoft provides drivers for it here and here, or you can use the ones above. You can use the wireless one with the Wireless Gaming Receiver made by Microsoft, which should come with drivers.
