How Do You Connect The Surround Sound For A Magnavox TV?
Connecting a Magnavox television to a surround sound system expands the sonic experience of home theater. Whether the Magnavox is a standard definition or HDTV set, a single cable connection is all you’ll need to unite the video with multichannel audio from the surround sound system. Use a High Definition media Interface (HDMI) cable for high-def Magnavox sets. Component video cables with color-coded plugs deliver a crisp picture with standard definition sets. Unplug the HDTV while connecting other cables. Insert the plug on one end of the HDMI cable into a free HDMI port on the back of the Magnavox HDTV, with the wider end of the plug turned upward.
