Most DVDs offer the ability to use the Dolby Digital Surround Sound to allow for greater audio quality while viewing your DVD. Before you can play a DVD in Dolby Digital, you must first connect the Sony DVP-C675D CD/DVD Player to a 5.1 channel surround amplifier. Locate the 5.1 channel output on the back of the Sony DVP-C675D CD/DVD Player and the 5.1 channel input on the back of the 5.1 channel surround amplifier.
