When you’re kiteboarding, it’s extremely important to connect the lines correctly. All the connections should be equal distance from the kite. Since the lines are the way that you control the kite, it pays to make sure that they are right. Crossed lines mean you don’t have the control that you need. Stand in between the lines. The inside lines are the front lines. You should use two different colors of lines or mark the connection on the line with an “F” (for “front”) so that you never accidentally hook a back edge line to the front.
