For the LG viewty to connect to the computer you can either use the special USB connector with one side for your phone and the other to the USB port. Secondly if your computer does not detect it try installing the software that comes with it, if you do not have it, it is supposingly to work still. If it does not detect the phone try plugging it in a few times and try again. Lastly check that your USB port is working by plugging it into other USB ports as the USBs’ have different types of ports such as the hi-speed ones.
