How do you connect headphones to the philips mcd139b dvd micro theatre system?
i cant seem to find a way to use headphones with the MCD 139B dvd micro theatre system, iv tried plugging the phones into the earphone socket on the tv (didnt work) i tried connecting them via the red and white jacks to the audio out on the tv (didnt work) iv tried everyway i could think of. im not brilliant at understanding tv/audio connections etc but im sure iv tried every way possible. the manual doesnt specifically say anything about using headphones, the only relevance i could find was on the setting up page where you have different options to connect the system to your tv and using the headphone jack on the tv was one of them. i am a guitarist and rock fan so i use headphones pretty much all the time to listen to cds or dvds so as to not disturb other people.
