How do you connect an oven and hob to a cooker switch?

Connect the oven to the hob, then the hob to the switch, as the hob takes the bulk of the load. IOW, connect the oven cable and the switch cable onto the same terminals on the hob. The hob will easily handle the extra load of the oven, but not the other way round. (In case you didn’t know, the oven will run from an ordinary 13amp socket, but *not* the hob). Don’t try and get the two cables up the conduit to the switch, you’ll never do it. Not without a lot of soap and swearing, anyway!
