How Do You Connect An Airlink Router To Qwest DSL?

0

Qwest is an Internet provider that features DSL Internet. Although DSL is far faster than a dial-up connection it does require your computer to be stationary and connected to the internet. If you want to freely move around with your computer you need to install a wireless router. One brand of wireless routers is Airlink and you can connect the Airlink router directly to the Qwest DSL modem and activate a wireless network. Connect an Ethernet cable into one of the “Out” ports along the back side of the Qwest DSL modem. Insert the other end of the Ethernet cable into the “WAN” port found on the back of your Airlink router. Turn on both the Airlink router and the Qwest DSL modem. Launch the Internet browser on your screen, the type in “http://192.168.1” (without the quotation marks). This is the Airlink’s wireless connection activation page. Type “admin” for both the user name and pasword fields, then select the “Setup” option. Scroll through the new page until you find “Network Setup.” C
