How Do You Connect A Wireless Printer To A 2Wire Router?
The 2Wire routers have both Ethernet and wireless capability. New 2Wire routers start out with the wireless signal enabled and secured. Wireless printers can be connected to a 2Wire router so that they do not have to be connected to a specific computer to work. Once they are properly configured, the wireless printers can be utilized by any computer on the network. This also allows more flexibility for the positioning of the printer since it does not need to be attached to a computer or a router. Look at the bottom of the 2Wire router to find a sticker with bar codes on it. Copy down the serial number and system key that are printer on this sticker. The serial number will be labeled “SN” and the system key will be a ten digit number. The system key will also have square brackets on either end of it to make it stand out.
