How Do You Connect A Type D Twisted Pair Cable?

0

I am not familiar with Type D cables when referring to networking. These connectors are generally used for serial and parallel cables. The most common situation with networks is RJ45 connectors. After unwinding the 4 twisted pairs and the RJ45 crimp with the metal pins up facing away from you the order is: O/W,O,G/W,B,B/W,G,B/W,B If you do that order on both ends of the cable you will get what is called a straight through. If you need to make a crossover, you use that pattern above on one end, and this pattern on the other end. G/W,G,O/W,B,B/W,O,B/W,B If this isn’t helpful, I’m sorry, but this is a pretty odd question.
