How Do You Connect A Russound Cai-Series To A Receiver?
Russound manufactures multiroom audio distribution systems that connect to a stereo receiver for piping music throughout a building. The Russound CAi-Series sends infrared signals from the main Russound component to speakers set up in various rooms. The component connects to a receiver with a standard set of white and red RCA-type AV cables. Place the Russound audio distribution component close to the stereo system or as part of a stacked component system. Do not place the Russound on top of the receiver, as this will block the receiver’s ventilation. Connect the plugs on one end of the audio cables to the Audio Out jacks on a receiver, using the white plug for the left audio channel and the red plug for the right. Connect the plugs on the other end of the audio cables to a set of Input jacks on the back of the Russound, using the same color codes to match the plugs to jacks. Connect other audio components as desired to the other Input jacks on the Russound using additional audio cable
