The PS3 ethernet cable by Mad Catz allows players to connect their PlayStation 3 console to the Internet and play games online. Unplug your modem and router from the power outlet. Turn off your PS3 console and unplug it from the power outlet. Plug one end of the Mad Catz ethernet cable into the PS3 console. Plug the other end into an open jack on the router. Even if the router is wireless, the Mad Catz cable must still be plugged into it. Plug your modem back into the power outlet, and wait for about 30 seconds for it to power up and sync with the Internet signal it is receiving from your Internet service provider.
