How Do You Connect A DTV Box With A Satellite TV System?
A Digital TV (DTV) box converts digital television signals, such as from a satellite programming service, into analog signals that can be processed on older, tube-type TV sets. The DTV connects between the television and the satellite receiver using two coaxial cables to transmit picture and sound between the components. Setting up the equipment takes only a few minutes to attach the cables and program the DTV box, which will scan the available channels automatically with the push of a button. Place the DTV box within connecting distance of the satellite receiver, preferably by stacking one component on the other, but close enough for attaching cables.
