How Do You Connect A Digital Converter Box To A Satellite TV System?
A digital converter box transforms digital television signals into analog signals that can be processed on older, tube-type TVs. To work properly, the converter box must be connected between the digital signal source and the television, a task that takes only a few minutes with a pair of coaxial cables. Once connected, the converter box is designed to scan digital channels from the satellite for viewing on an analog TV with the push of a button. Connect a coaxial cable from the satellite to the RF IN or COAX IN jack on the digital converter box. The cable connects with a coupler turned clockwise on the external threads of the jack on the converter box. Be sure to align the metal pin inside the coupler with the hole on the jack. Attach a second coaxial cable to the RF OUT or COAX OUT jack on the converter box, tightening the coupler to the jack by hand. Connect the other end of the second coaxial cable to the RF IN or COAX IN jack on the back of a television or VCR, which would then be
