How Do You Configure Spamcop?
Spamcop is a service that fights spam in email. Spamcop works by providing a place to report spam you receive. The IP addresses from which the spam originates are added to a spam blocking list that you can use to block unwanted emails. The service is free, but it must be configured properly to work on your mail server. Register for a reporting account at Spamcop.com. Click “Report Spam” in the top left corner of the homepage. Register by placing the name or alias of your choice and your email in the spaces provided. Follow the instructions provided in the email that is sent to you to login to your spam reporting account. Click “Mailhosts” at the top of the page. At the bottom of the resulting page, click “Add First Hosts.” Follow the on-screen prompts to complete Spamcop configuration.
