How Do You Complete A Half Marathon With Minimal Training?
You want to run a race and somehow, either on a whim of your own, or the prodding of others, you end up signed up for a half-marathon. Here is how you can make it through with little training and still manage to complete the half-marathon with a decent time. So you’ve entered the big race. Maybe you have 6 months, maybe 3 months, or maybe less – don’t panic! Just do any kind of cardio work-out for 30-minutes 3-4 days per week. It doesn’t matter if you just walk for that amount of time – you are doing something. And if you have to walk in the race at times, big deal! Get yourself some new running shoes – they don’t have to be top of the line. One year I ran a half-marathon in my hiking shoes and my knees are paying for it now.
