How do you compare two poms for example Hurricane Hits England and Search for my Tongue?
You talk about the devices used in the poems and how they contrast each other.Why the poems decided to lay the poem out in a particular wa and what can you tell by just the titles.Find which line you think is the most important line in the poem and talk about why you think this and how it compares to the other poems. Search for things like alliterations,onomatopoeia’s,metaphors and simile’s.Also check for oxymoron’s(Where they say two things such as love and hate)which could be used in a sentence such as “This was such a love hate situation.These things help increase your Grade.Always write about a little so if you find a metaphor write a lot about it.Don’t forget to compare the poems in each paragraph.
