How Do You Compare & Order Smartboard Decimals?
A Smart Board is an integrated presentation system comprised of a computer with Smart Board software, a projector and a projection screen. Smart Boards are excellent tools for teaching mathematics because of the interactivity that the system provides and the ease that a teacher can write and erase on the screen. Smart Board decimals can be written in any program that Smart Board can integrate with, including Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Word. Create a Word document that has a list of decimals. A good choice might be to list the prices at a local fast food restaurant (the students can help create this list). For example, a burger (99 cents), cheeseburger ($1.49), fries ($1.49), milk shake ($2.39) and deluxe meal ($4.99). Explain to the students how decimals are compared.
