How do you compare Heath Ledger (The Joker) to Brandon Lee (The Crow)?
I do see a connection between the two, definitely. The Crow shot Brandon Lee into stardom after his untimely passing. The role as the Joker for Headth Ledger has no doubt done the same, though the latter has done well known roles, this is the one that will make him famous years from now. There are more differences between the two than similarities though. Lee was not done filming The Crow, while Ledger had already finished filming and had moved onto his next project, which he was unable to finish, so this is a similarity and a difference at the same time. I have no doubt that Ledger’s role in Terry Gilliam’s “The Imaginarium of Doctor Parnassus” will be equally interesting to watch as any of his other roles, but The Joker character that Ledger played (which is entirely different than the Nicholson version) seems to be his most epic performance.
