How do you compare and contrast it to George Noory and Art Bell’s programs?
We have fun with that comparison. We call Coast To Coast “Ghost to Ghost,” and refer to George Noory as “George Snoory.” One of our former co-hosts did a great impression of him, emphasizing a sleepy voice, and I do occasionally tell silly jokes about the size of Noory’s mustache. But the most important thing is that The Paracast isn’t there strictly for the entertainment or shock value. Unlike most paranormal radio shows, we approach such phenomena as legitimate new stories. We get the experts on the air along with eyewitnesses, and ask them the tough questions nobody else thinks to ask. Sometimes it gets hot and heavy. One guest, whom we exposed as an outright fraud, couldn’t take it anymore and hung up on us after just 30 minutes. Sure we want to be entertaining, but we won’t present obviously fake information just for the entertainment or shock value.
