You can use PKZip to combine two or more files into a single compressed file for backup or easy storage, or to send by e-mail. This procedure describes the process using PKZip 2.7 on Windows 98. Open the PKZip program. Click the File menu, point to New, and click Zip File. Browse through the files in the Save In field to select a location for the new combined file. Type a name for the combined file in the File name field and click Save. If possible, use a name that describes the files it will contain, such as “graduation_pics.” Select the directory containing the files to be combined, or zipped, in the directory window (left pane).
