Why buy expensive sitcom DVDs when your favorite television shows come on for free? When your favorite television show comes on weekly (or daily), record every episode on your DVR player or VCR. (Try to be present and watch the entire episode to pause through commercials. With enough episodes, it will seem like you have the DVD set, and DVD sets tend to come out a minimum of a year later.)
