How Do You Coach An Attacking Drill In Kids Soccer?
Play a game called “World Cup” to teach attacking skills in a fun environment. Divide your players into groups of four. Make sure players with similar abilities are teamed up accordingly. Divide a large field into smaller fields, about 30 yards in both length and width. Have one player be the goalkeeper and each of the other three assume a country name and become that country’s World Cup soccer team. Have the goalkeeper kick the ball and the other three players compete to see who can get the ball and score on the keeper. The first “country” to score three goals wins the World Cup.
