How Do You Clear Up The Startup Menu In Windows Vista?

0

The Startup menu in Windows Vista is located inside the regular Start menu. This contains a listing of all programs that are currently starting when Windows initially loads. If you want to add a program to the startup process, you can simply drag its icon into this folder. Likewise, if you remove one of the program icons in this folder it will no longer load automatically when you turn on your computer. Click “Start” on your desktop taskbar. Click “All Programs.” Right click on “Startup.” Click “Explore.” This will open the contents of the “Startup” folder in Windows Explorer. Add the icon of any program you want to load when your computer starts into this folder. Remove any icon from this folder that belongs to a program that you do not want to load on startup. Click the “X” box to close this window when finished. Restart your computer to see your changes take immediate effect.
