How Do You Clear The Recent Search History In Dogpile?

0

Dogpile is a metasearch engine, which means that it gathers search results from multiple search engines and consolidates them into one convenient location. By default, Dogpile saves your searches to make it simple to return to them, should you need to do so at a later time. While this is convenient, some people do not like their searches to be saved for privacy reasons. If this is the case, you can clear Dogpile history and prevent future searches from being saved. Go to the main page of the Dogpile website and click on “Preferences,” located just below the search bar (a direct link is provided under Resources). Scroll down to the “Recent Searches” section of the Preferences page. Click the radio button next to “Recent Searches Off.” Scroll to the bottom of the page and click “Save Settings” to confirm the new settings.
