How Do You Clear The Address Bar In Internet Explorer?
Every time you open Internet Explorer and browse the web, information on the websites you have visited, including the history of the visited pages, is stored in the browser’s memory. Anyone else working on your computer can see what you have been surfing online by clicking on the drop-down button in the URL address field or by going to the browser history. You will have to clear the browsing history after you are done working online to clear the address bar. However, you can also delete other sensitive data, including typed passwords and search strings, just as easily. Open the Internet Explorer browser and click on “Tools” in the top menu. Click on “Internet Options” at the bottom of the list and then on “Delete” under the “Browsing history” section. Check off the box next to “History” and then click on “Delete.” Click on “OK” to close the Internet Options window after the browsing history has been deleted and restart the browser.
