If you use a public computer or a shared computer at work that has Google toolbar installed. When you go online using Google to make search queries, there will be a history of keyword terms saved into cookies. When someone clicks on the drop down of the Google toolbar search menu, it will list all the keywords that were used. Your privacy will be revealed if you don’t clear it manually because Google toolbar has the default setting to save search term history. To disable the Google search history on the Google toolbar, just follow the steps: On the Google toolbar upper corner, there is a wrench icon that is next to the “Sign In”. Click on it and chooses Options. The toolbar option window opens up, while the “Search” button is selected, look for an option that says: Store search history on my computer. Uncheck the box and click “Save” button. Restart Internet Explorer to take effect. Now you will not see the Google search history anymore.
