How Do You Clear Autofill?
Autofill or AutoComplete is a feature that allows computer users to save time while they’re typing by suggesting entries in search bars and forms. For instance, if a user types “Fa…” into the search bar, the entries “Farm,” “Fast and the Furious,” “Faint,” or “F.A.Q.” may appear. When a user begins to type an email address in a form, the address will automatically appear, and the user can stop typing and click on the email address to move on to entering the password more quickly. Autofill can also be a nuisance because the wrong entries can pop up, and you may have to scroll through all the entries to get the one you want. If you don’t want to page through these entries, you can easily disable Autofill or AutoComplete in Internet Explorer and Mozilla Firefox.
