A salt brine will keep grease from building up and will also kill odors. In a bowl add Baking Soda with just enough water to make the Baking Soda barely pourable but not liquid. If you add too much water just add a little more Baking Soda. Pour the baking soda down the drain. Pour one cup of white vinegar down the drain after it. Leave this for at least 10 minutes. Bring salt and 4 cups water to a boil. Pour this brine directly down the drain. Leave again for about 5 minutes Run hot water from the tap down the drain for 2 minutes.
