How Do You Clear A Clogged Kitchen Sink Drain?
A clogged sink drain is a common household dilemma but can be very easy to fix. A clogged sink is often caused by food particles and other types of gunk stuck in the pipes. But don’t panic. You shouldn’t need to pay a plumber. This should only take a few minutes and then your kitchen sink will be back to normal. Use rubber gloves. This will protect your hands if you should have to stick your hand down into the garbage disposal and pull out any debris. Items lurking at the bottom can make this task a very messy one. Check to be sure that the garbage disposal is not clogging the drain. Make sure that the garbage disposal is turned off and/or unplugged before you begin to unclog it. More than likely, your sink is clogged because food particles have gotten stuck and the blades on the disposer can no longer turn. Stick your hand down into the disposal and pull out any food items that are causing the blade not to turn properly. After you have removed the waste, plug in and turn the disposal
