Yellow stains on linoleum floors are typically caused by a chemical reaction between the flooring a rubber backing on floor mats or rubber soled shoes. They can be quite difficult to remove if they have penetrated deep into the floor’s surface. Because of this, it is important to clean your floors regularly. In addition, a bit of hard work and elbow grease a couple times a year will leave your floors looking shiny and new. Mix the baking soda and lemon juice to make a mildly abrasive paste.
