How Do You Clean Windows With Vinegar?
If you’re tired of finding streaks on your window immediately after you’ve cleaned it with glass cleaner, you may want to switch to vinegar. Unlike most glass cleaning solutions, vinegar leaves windows with a streak-free shine. To clean exterior and interior windows with positive results, follow these steps to remove dirt and grime. Fill a bucket with warm water. Add 1 cup of white distilled vinegar per gallon of water. Work from the top down. With a sponge, apply the solution to the top of the window and work your way to the bottom. Gently scrub sticky areas with a soft-bristled brush. Use a razor blade to remove stuck-on grime or clear tape. Remove the vinegar and water solution with a squeegee for a streakless shine.
