How Do You Clean Water Marks On Marble Tables?

0

Marble tables are highly susceptible to water rings and water marks. When a glass is set down on a marble table, condensation can drip down the outside of the glass and create a pool of water. When the water evaporates, it leaves behind calcium and magnesium, which form an unsightly stain on your marble. This stain is not permanent and can be easily cleaned up. Combine 3 tsp. baking soda and 1 qt. warm water. Mix well. Dip a microfiber cleaning cloth in the cleaning solution. Scrub the stain vigorously until the water mark is removed. Allow the marble to air dry for two hours. Rinse the solution from your table with clear water. Dry your table thoroughly with a clean cloth. Crush up some white chalk into a fine powder. This will be used to give your marble a nice shine after the water marks have been cleaned. Dampen another microfiber cloth and dip it into the white chalk powder. Wipe the marble down in long, overlapping strokes. Make sure you wipe in straight strokes, not circular pat
