How Do You Clean The Printer Heads On A Lexmark All-In-One?

0

Lexmark All-in-One printers combine functions like printing, copying, scanning and faxing into one compact machine. As in all inkjet printers, there is the potential for clogging to occur in the cartridges themselves on in the print head. Using the built-in printer cleaning cycles and a little bit of hot water, most printer heads can be cleaned without too much trouble. Load a piece of clean, white paper into the printer. Press the “Tool” button on the Lexmark printer control panel and press “OK.” Navigate using the arrows until “clean cartridges” appears and press “OK.” Press “OK” again to initiate the cartridge cleaning. A page will print during the cleaning process. Remove the cartridge and attempt to clean the nozzle and contacts with a damp, lint-free cloth if the page does not print cleanly or there are missing lines. After it is dry, reinsert the cartridge and run the cleaning cycle again. Remove the print head from the printer if the page still does not print satisfactorily. Se
