How Do You Clean Tea & Coffee Stains Off Kitchen Counters?

0

You once-bright white counter is covered in unsightly tea and coffee stains, and it seems as if every time you set down a cup you make another one. Before you call a contractor to install new counters, clean those ugly stains away with a common household product. For safety, wear gloves and eye protection when working with bleach. Pour ½ cup of bleach into a 1-quart spray bottle, taking care not to splash the bleach on your skin or clothing. Fill the bottle with water to 1 inch from the top and screw on the sprayer. Spray a liberal amount of solution onto your counter, covering the stains completely. Let stand 15 minutes. Wipe off the counters, using a sponge or cloth. The stains will be gone. If you see a spot you missed, repeat the process. Rinse counters with clean water and allow to air-dry.
