Sweat stains are tough because they tend to sneak up on you. They accumulate over time, even despite repeated washings, until one day you notice that your favorite shirt’s armpits are looking a little weird. Soak the sweat stained areas of a single garment with hot water. Rub shampoo into the stains. Shampoo works well to break down the residue because it’s designed to loosen and dissolve bodily oils.
