How Do You Clean Stone Tile Floors & Grout?
Natural stone flooring is durable and long-lasting; however, care must be taken when cleaning stone tile floors and grout. Although stone tile flooring can withstand a lot of wear and tear, certain cleaning products may cause damage to the surface. Clean stone tile floors and grout properly to preserve their beauty and increase their life span. Sweep the floor with a broom or vacuum cleaner. Use a soft-brush attachment on the vacuum cleaner so that the floor is not scratched. Sweep along the grout lines as well as the face of the stone tiles. Fill a bucket with warm water. Add a few drops of mild dish soap to the water. Scrub the grout with a soft-bristled scrub brush or old toothbrush. Dip the brush into the bucket of soapy water and scrub the grout briskly to remove dirt and grime. Dip a sponge mop into the bucket and wring it out well.
