How do you clean steam iron which has been marked by dark coloured clothing?
Your iron hasn’t been marked by dark clothing I think you must have had the iron too hot whilst ironing something and you have burnt it. turn your iron on a low setting, get a cloth and wet it in a hot water with washing up liquid in it and use the cloth to rub the base of the iron. Make sure that you fold the cloth up plenty of times so as to protect your fingers from the hot surface of the iron whilst you are rubbing it.
