How Do You Clean Stains On Marble Tables?
A marble table can make a classy addition to any home. Used for sculpting by the Greeks and Romans, marble has been a favored stone for a long time. Even today, marble is one of the preferred stones for making furniture. It’s beautiful and durable and can last for many years. Stains can detract from the beauty of these tables, but fortunately, removing them is a simple task. Make a poultice out of baby powder and 12 percent hydrogen peroxide. Mix equal parts until you have reached a thick paste consistency. Apply the poultice to the stain and cover it with plastic wrap. Tape the edges down and leave it for 24 to 48 hours. When you remove the plastic, allow the poultice to stay until it is hard. Gently remove the hardened poultice with a blunt edge and wipe the area clean with a soft, clean, damp cloth.
