How Do You Clean Stainless Steel Pots And Pans?

0

There are many different brands of stainless steel cleaner for pots and pans.  I tend to use Bar Keeper’s friend recommended to me by a shop hand a local restaurant supply store. http://www.barkeepersfriend.com/

I’m positive there are hundreds of stainless steel cleaner to choose from at any super market you may visit. And any brand will work.

I apply Bar Keeper’s friend for the initial scrub.  If the job is a really tough job, I fill the pan or pot with soapy warm water and let the pan sit for most of the day.  Then I use Bar Keeper’s friend.

Then when the pan or pot is completely cleaned.  I scrub the pan or pot one more time, as I normally would with a sponge and dishwash liquid.  This is to make sure that I’ve removed all the stainless steel cleaner from the pan.

Tired of washing your stainless steel pots and pans with regular dish soap only to find that it doesn’t completely clean them? Well, look no further! My wife and I have discovered an incredibly easy way to remove that burnt on stuff that dish soap will not remove. Wash the pot or pan in hot water with dish soap. We use Dawn soap, but it still doesn’t remove all of the residue. Pour enough lemon or lime juice into the pot or pan to cover the entire bottom. Let stand for one minute. Wipe out the juice/residue mixture. Rinse and re-wash the pot or pan as necessary.
