How Do You Clean Stainless Steel Faucets?
Stainless steel faucets can be easy to clean, but if you use the wrong type of cleaner, you can get results you won’t be pleased with. Make sure you use both a cleaner and a cloth or sponge that are non-abrasive and meant for use on stainless steel. Clean the faucets with a microfiber cloth and water for light cleaning. This may clean them effectively without any cleaner. Use a stainless steel cleaner, or a cleaner made for multiple surfaces, and a soft, non-abrasive cloth or sponge to clean spots and streaks. Rinse completely and dry with a dry cloth to eliminate streaks left by evaporation. Rub in the direction of the grain of the stainless steel for best results. Treat the surface with a small amount of mineral oil on a piece of paper towel. Rub in the direction of the grain and apply evenly.
