Here’s how to do damage control to keep your pool table looking great. If the stain is still wet, blot it with a clean, absorbent cloth. Let it dry. Gently brush the spot with a felt brush. They’re available at billiard-supply stores. Vacuum the spot with a low-powered vacuum. Too much suction can damage the felt. Slightly dampen a soft cloth with Woolite and wipe in lines in one direction. An alternative is to lightly spray on a pool-table cleaning product such as Felt Rescue. Blot dry with a small cloth.
