How Do You Clean Soap Scum, Mildew And Mold From A Shower Stall?
I have a very old shower stall so it is very high maintenance. Here are some steps to keeping your shower stall clean with less maintenance on your part. First take about 1/2 cup of orange hand cleanser and place it on the floor or side of shower stall. Using bathroom scrub brush in a circular motion (using generous amounts of hand cleanser) scrub sides and floor of bathroom stall. Let the cleanser set for one hour. Then rinse the shower stall out thoroughly. Wipe dry and remove any residual mildew or soap scum with the paper towels. An excellent cleanser to use is Scrub Free which can be bought at your local supermarket. Spray cleaner on floor and sides of shower. With wet paper towel make sure all areas of the shower stall are covered with cleanser. Let the cleanser set for one hour. Then rinse the shower stall thoroughly and wipe dry with paper towels. Coat the walls of your shower stall with furniture polish or car wax to help prevent soap scum buildup.
