First use regular soap and warm water to clean the shoes, inside and out. You can soak the shoes in the water and try to wring it a few times in the soapy water to clean the inner cloth part. Rinse very very well. And try to wring out all the water you can. To dry, you can put them at a very very low temperature in the oven for a few minutes. It will smell a bit but you can wash the oven out afterwards. Keep a close eye on the shoes as they dry. You don’t want the rubber to melt in the oven or the leather to crack, but it will help to get some of the moisture out, but not all of it. If you leave it in till all the water is out, it’s too late, your shoes will be damaged and your oven will smell like burnt rubber or leather. For the rest, it just has to sit somewhere warm and dry for a couple of days or so. Afterwards, spray some shoe deodorizer inside the shoes and also use a shoe polish sponge to polish up the outer part of the shoes. They should smell a lot better after that. Once the
