Place the skateboard on a patch of grass or on carpeting to prevent the board from rolling around during cleaning. Fill the large cup with warm tap water. Leave a small amount of space between the water fill line and the top of the cup to minimize overflow and splashing when inserting the brush. Place the toothbrush, bristles first, into the cup of water and let it soak for a few minutes. Remove the toothbrush from the cup and vigorously rub the bristles back and forth across the grip tape.
