There is no need to waste both time and money purchasing expensive commercial cleaning products filled with unhealthy chemicals, when the answers to having shiny clean silverware is probably already in the house. There are several household products that can make quick work out of cleaning silverware and do a much better job than anything you could purchase specifically for the task. With minimal time and effort, silverware can be cleaned properly to look as good as new. Create a paste using baking soda and vinegar in equal parts, and coat the silverware with it. Allow the paste to sit on the silverware for at least five minutes before rinsing it off under warm running water and using a soft, clean, dry cloth to buff until it’s shiny.
