How Do You Clean Silver With Natural Products?
Whether you’re dealing with forks and knives or a special pair of earrings, it makes sense to use natural products for cleaning silver. They’re easier on your hands, safer for the environment and effective for making silver sparkle. Another plus is that you probably have some of these natural products on your bathroom and pantry shelves. Make a paste of baking soda and water. Rub it on your silver pieces with a soft sponge or cloth, rinse off and dry. If the silver is very tarnished, leave on the paste for 20 minutes or so before rinsing. Turn up the heat for badly tarnished silver. Simmer 2 cups of water in a pot, remove from heat, add 2 teaspoons of baking soda and a piece of aluminum foil.
