How Do You Clean Shark Steam Mop Cloths?

0

Shark Steam Mops use steam dispersed through a microfiber cleaning pad to remove tough stains from hard floors. While the steam helps loosen stains, the microfiber cleaning pad scrubs them away. The cleaning pad will get dirty with each use of the mop and become less effective if it is not cleaned. Dirty cleaning pads do not need to be replaced, as they regain their effectiveness when the dirt and debris trapped in the pad is washed out. Pull out on the latches securing the microfiber cleaning pad and pull the pad off of the mop head. Wash the microfiber cleaning pad in a washing machine with liquid detergent. The pad should be cleaned alone or in a garment bag to prevent it from picking up lint from other laundry items. Hang up the pad to let it air dry, or place it in the dryer on a low-heat setting. Reattach the pad to the mop head by lining up the grooves on the pad with the rounded tabs on the bottom of the mop head. Press the pad in place and secure the latches.
